Bruce Roberts Voyager 620 For Sale
Bruce Roberts Voyager 620 Motor Yacht, was constructed by the current owner's father, from Bruce Roberts' Boat Plans, in Subic Bay and launched in 2014, available now for sale by owner. The yacht was slightly modified from the original plans in that the midship cabin has been converted into an office, leaving the two larger cabins for sleeping – double Master cabin w/King-size bed (aft) and double Guest cabin w/Queen-size bed (forward). Both cabins have en-suite toilet and shower.
Full B&G navigation displays, including radar. Marine VHF, autopilot, depth etc. Plus installed PC backup for chart plotting. If all else fails then paper charts are in the drawers provided.
Propulsion is supplied by a Gardner 6LXDT 270HP inboard diesel engine with very low hours - the yacht has been primarily used as a liveaboard, first in Subic Bay and latterly in Puerto Galera. Large solar array (average 2.7KW at peak) with Victron control system, such that the generator and or engine need not be used for battery top-up unless there is no sun for a week.
Generous living / entertainment area with soft, lounge-style seating, large LCD TV etc. 12VDC, 24VDC and 220VAC outlets at required locations. An adjacent dining area offers discrete or inclusive dining experience - you choose.
Full kitchen/galley is electric powered but with LPG option installed. Hob-top for cooking and an oven for baking to please your family or guests.
On deck electric windlass for multiple anchors as required. Plus: deploy / retrieve deck crane for tender/dinghy and anything else needed from/to over-the-side; and, CCTV cameras with remote viewing installed at strategic locations around the deck.
The basic layouts of the two decks of the Voyager 620 are shown below although the as-built are slightly modified, as stated above.
Opportunities: the yacht is ideal as a liveaboard explorer with the option to employ for paid charter in the Philippines and beyond - the yacht is recently Philippine registered and therefore compliant for charter if operated by the owner or a Philippine certified Captain.
The yacht is in need of some TLC because the current owner is too busy with work and does not have the opportunity to employ contractors at its current location. All mechanical / electrical devices are functioning with the exception of the air-conditioning system – new at acquisition but installation has been frustrated by changed personal circumstance. We estimate perhaps an immediate investment of US$20,000 required to restore her beauty and to anti-foul. Ask for the ToDo List (click here)
Due to the excellent attention to detail evident during construction this yacht is highly valued but a sensible offer may be entertained for quick sale.
